Florian is a derivative of latin <<Florus>> and expresses flowering and flourishing like the power of green. I'm a passionated landscape architect & planner with several years of experience in the field of vegetation engineering, NBS assessment & climate-resilient urban planning & architecture.

After being a junior researcher at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna, I joined the Green4Cities team where I became the leading technical manager & shareholder of the international center of excellence for urban green infrastructure (GI) & nature-based solutions (NBS).

I've gained great experience as work package and task leader of different national & international R&D projects in the field of GI and smart cities within the last years, focusing on NBS assessment and building-integrated greenery implementation. Further I possess a wide range of expert knowledge in microclimate simulation modelling & the field of clima
