Wired Certification champions cutting-edge technology in commercial real estate by providing the only certification for rating the infrastructure, connectivity and technological capacity of commercial buildings. WiredScore launched Wired Certification in 2013 in partnership with Mayor Bloomberg. Following success in the US, WiredScore became the official Mayor of London Digital Connectivity Rating Scheme in October 2015. To date, more that 400 million sq ft of commercial real estate in more than 1,400 buildings has been Wired Certified globally. International demand for the digital connectivity rating system has seen the company expand operations to the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and Canada. Crowning those successes, WiredScore won the Estates Gazette’s Rising Stars award in 2016 and the Estates Gazette’s London Award for outstanding contribution to the property sector the following year.
In October 2017, WiredScore also secured the support of a group of major investors in its rapid expansion plans. An investment group, led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Fifth Wall Ventures, acquired a majority share of the company, paving the way for WiredScore to further expand its global operation.
