Aleks, our Co-Founder and CEO, was suffering from the fierce real estate market when he had to do several relocations while being student in Munich. And also Michael, HousePilot’s second Co-Founder, gained a lot of experience how difficult it is to find and buy a house for his young family. The both have aligned their skills in real estate, marketing and tech to solve all these problems with a unique approach based on the power of the new gig economy – with a strong community and smart technical solutions. After creating the concept and finding their first angel investors, they have successfully built up HousePilot’s core team and also developed its first leasing portal. In 2019 the company has been founded to go operational. After testing the market, it is now the right time to launch HousePilot in the Greater Munich area first by Q1 2021, before offering HousePilot’s service also in other big German cities and then to scale it in the major European housing markets in the future.
