Guarantees and surety bonds are indispensable for construction projects, but they involve time-consuming manual processes. In 2020, two of Germany‘s largest insurance companies for surety bonds joined forces to come up with a better and easier way to handle guarantees in the future. While they took on the challenge to simplify the entire process, they knew that only a holistic approach that benefited everyone in the market could lead to a sustainable solution with real added value. Thus, Trustlog was born – an independent company with the mission of developing a digital solution that is beneficial and open to all market participants. Only one year later, in April 2021, Trustlog officially launched its digital platform (PaaS) for the secure, easy and efficient management and safekeeping of paperless guarantees.
