Mycoop is about transforming communication in multifamily residential buildings. The multifamily industry has been struggling for years to improve communication and engagement with their residents in order to increase resident retention and improve the bottom line. However, the attempts to solve this problem have largely ignored the fundamental issue of how residents want to communicate. In the current world of sophisticated connectivity landlords are still using paper, email lists and awkward portals to try to engage their residents. These delivery methods fail most acutely in times of emergency.

Based on the last 4 years of studying this space, we have built a cloud-based platform to improve communication and access to information for residents and managers. We provide messaging tools that allow for the instant dissemination of urgent information using SMS as part of our larger platform where residents can share information, ideas and connect. Managers are able to keep all of their information in one place across a portfolio of buildings. They will easily be able to upload documents, manage maintenance requests, and communicate with their residents and team members, This simplicity makes sure no communication falls through the cracks and helps keep everyone on the same page.
